Cancellations

There are no penalties if an appointment is cancelled up to 48 hours before the start of the session.

If cancelled within 48 hours and the session was unable to be filled, 50% of the cost of the session will be added to the cost of your next visit.

No-shows and late arrivals

If a client does not show for their appointment without contacting the business, 50% of the cost of the session will be due prior to scheduling the next appointment.

If a client arrives late for a session, please don't expect additional time added to the session. Please be mindful of the therapist's time and other appointments.

If a client arrives more than 15 minutes after the start of the session, that may be considered a no-show and the session may no longer be available. Please contact Sarah at (313) 425-5386 by call or text if you are running late but still hoping to make your appointment.

Standard practice procedures

  • Allevo Therapeutic Bodywork therapists follow the Standards of Practice set forth by the American Massage Therapy Association.
  • If any client exhibits sexual conduct, the session will be ended with full charge and the client will be asked to leave. Sexual misconduct will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
  • Early arrivals are appreciated so that you can complete any intake forms. If arriving more than 15 minutes before your session, your therapist may still be in session or preparing the space for the next appointment.

Code of ethics

Allevo Therapeutic Bodywork therapists follow the Code of Ethics set forth by the American Massage Therapy Association.

Payment

Payment is collected at the time of service. Pre-pay is also available at booking if you prefer. We accept credit and debit cards (through Stripe) as well as cash. Tipping is appreciated but never expected.

Privacy

Your health information stays between us. Session notes are kept private and are not shared with anyone without your written consent. Our full privacy policy covers what we collect, how we use it, and how we handle appointment SMS and email.
